I walked into a gallery in New Mexico and was blown away by this artist. Vachagan, a Ukrainian artist, started his career under the soviet regime, painted underground and has since been discovered throughout Europe and North America. His work is appreciating QUICKLY. This is my favorite painting in my collection.

I came across this piece on a trip with my daughter. We were in a gallery in Carmel and saw this wonderful giclée. What really made it unique was how drastically it changes under different levels of lighting. In low light level, it looks like a sunrise but in brighter light it appears to be midday. Out of all my pieces, it is the one that draws the most attention.

Volkov's original canvases sells for $50K- 75K.
